Friendship · Civic Life · Pub Nights

A group of dads in Dedham who actually show up for each other.

We share stories, hang out at our favorite pubs, take Town Meeting seriously, and pitch in when one of our kids is selling cookies or running a 5K. Every third Thursday, we open the door and welcome other dads who'd like a few real friendships at this stage of life.

Eight dads, two strollers, one questionable pace strategy

[PLACEHOLDER COPY] A solid Saturday morning showing for Mike's daughter's charity run. Pancakes after at the Tap. Photos in the group chat — apologies in advance to anyone whose form was captured mid-stride.

If you've got a kid running, selling, walking, or otherwise raising money for something, the dads are an easy yes. Drop it in the chat or grab one of us at TTT.

Town Meeting: what we're tracking this fall

[PLACEHOLDER COPY] A few articles worth paying attention to this season, including the override discussion and the rec center funding question. If you're a Town Meeting member or thinking about becoming one, come find us.

Welcome new faces from September TTT

[PLACEHOLDER COPY] Good crew last month — three new dads, one of whom turned out to know half the table already. That's how Dedham works. Next TTT is the 21st, same place.

Around Town

Dedham Dads aren't just a poker night — most of us are involved in the place we live. Town Meeting, civic boards, the small stuff that keeps a town running. We also tend to show up when one of our kids is fundraising for something.

Town Meeting & Local Politics

[PLACEHOLDER] Several of us serve on Town Meeting. We track the issues, we show up to the meetings, and we'll happily talk your ear off about an article you didn't think you cared about. If you're new to civic life in Dedham and want a low-pressure way in, ask any of us.

Sponsorships & Show-Ups

[PLACEHOLDER] Cookies. 5Ks. School auctions. Charity walks. When one of our kids needs the dads, the dads are an easy yes. It's not formal, it's not a foundation — it's just what friends do for each other's families.
